Leaks around the Toilet.

Assuming the men in the house are on target, water on the floor around the toilet could be from a leaking connection under the tank, a crack in the toilet tank or bowl, a leaking wax seal at the toilet base, or condensation.

Eliminate the simple things you can easily see first like condensation. Once the condensation problem is solved, you will know if there is another problem.

Check for a leak from the bottom of the tank filler pipe. it could be the pipe or the connection to the tank. Inspect the tank and bowl for hairline cracks. if all seems well, then it could the wax seal under the bowl.

Water at the base of a toilet is a serious problem because in time it will cause significant damage to the floor and possibly the floor joists under the bathroom.
